I bought a rug that was printed from a photograph to match my tiled floor. The design team helped me to replicate the photograph to fit the rug so that it matched the tiling. Fine detail was impressive

Before placing my order, I had been concerned whether fine detail would reproduce on a smaller sized rug or if detail would get 'lost' in the pile, or have that pixelated jacquard look – but in the end the finished product turned out amazing, with a high degree of detail and vibrant colours. I opted for the 'shimmer velvet' finish and it exceeded all expectations! Also, I would say the online visual errs on the conservative side – my finished rug contained a bit more around the edges than the mock-up displays.

How we make it

Modern dyeing process

A sublimation dyeing process results in a beautifully vibrant and sharp print, with an even and consistent tone. This professional printing method leaves an impeccable finish on your rug, which is then cut and stitched by our skilled makers to the highest standards. The fabric is either our Velvet Shimmer or Marbled Velvet material which are both incredibly soft and smooth to the touch, with that added bit of extra glimmer to reflect the light. To stop the rug slipping on wooden floors, the base is made from an anti-slip latex sponge, alongside a jute rug binder for added strength and stability.

Care: Vacuum your rug regularly to keep any dust or dirt at bay, and if necessary, wipe gently with a damp cloth to keep in perfect condition. Do not put in washing machine or dryer. When you receive your rug you may notice an odour. This is normal and will air out in a few days.
