Make a Collage

If you can’t decide on which photo to use, you can upload multiple images and create a photo collage. This can be done using one of our pre-set montage templates, or you can create your own entirely from scratch. It’s super easy to do and the possibilities are endless.

How to add your collage to your product

Step 1 – Click the start design button & select your product options.

Step 2 – Go to the ‘Images & Text Tools’ tab, click the ‘add images/Text’ button on your product & ‘Select Images to Upload’ or use the Facebook/Instagram tabs.

Step 3 – Choose the images you want to use for your collage, upload & select them from the uploaded photos list.

Step 4 – Click ‘Create montage’ & select your collage style.

Step 5 – Add the collage to your design.

Hints and Tips

  • The more images you add to your collage the smaller each image will be. Fewer images will be larger and give you more clarity and detail.
  • The more people in an image, the less detail there will be. If you have 10 images of a group of five friends, each person will be smaller than if you have 10 images of just one person.
  • Try to make sure that the longest side of each image is around 10 centimetres. There is a handy ruler built into the design tool to help you with this.
  • Smaller products will not be able to fit as many images as larger ones will.

Black and white beauty

Your photo is printed onto the canvas fabric using a top-of-the-range digital printing technique. Our trained technicians use a deep infusion printing method to bond eco-friendly inks deep into the fibres of the fabric.

Our craftsmen hand make the frame, from FSC certified pinewood, as well as eight wedges for each canvas, and stretcher bars. When both the frame and fabric are ready, your black and white canvas prints are then hand-stretched to ensure the best result each and every time.

Go mad for monochrome

Choose your height and width dimensions separately, so you can create the right sized black and white canvas for you and your home, whether it's the kitchen, the hallway or anywhere. This means you can create square, portrait and landscape canvases that meet your needs. You can also select which depth size you want, either 2.5cm or 4.5cm, along with a choice of three image wrap styles.

  • Gallery wrap means some of your photo design will be used to wrap around the edges
  • Mirror wrap means the part of the image near the edge is mirrored and used to wrap around the frame. With this wrap, your whole photo is visible on the canvas front but with a gallery wrap appearance.
  • Colour wrap means your photo or design stops at the edges and the sides are wrapped in a colour of your choice.

If you don’t have a black and white photo, fear not. Our image editor can convert your colour photos for you. An easy way to create unique photo gifts.

Transform your favourite wedding photo into a demure black and white photo canvas. This is a popular filter because it shows off your beautiful white wedding dress. As a personalised photo gift for your Mum and Dad’s anniversary, or your friends’ engagement, choose a cute nostalgic photo from when they first got together.

For a contemporary take on the classic pet portrait, turn it into a striking black and white canvas print. On a solid colour wall, this will look stunning. Any animal lover would love this hung up in their home, taking pride of place above the fireplace. Or create a black and white photo collage featuring their beloved pet. You could even use an effect on your pictures to make them look like a large painting.
