An honest review of a reasonably good experience
Pros: good product, excellent staff on the ground
Cons: the company is greedy and accepted too many orders during the festive period sabotaging the efforts of their ground staff, call centre have no idea what’s going on
I ordered two personalised throws. The order stipulated a 2-day turnaround which is impressive. One of my throws was done in this time. The other mysteriously got stuck on “production” which means the image was printed but not yet sewn onto the fleece.
I was reassured by the call centre (outsourced abroad) that it would be done in a day. I went to collect as I live close by, however it had not been done. However I was very lucky that Christina who was working on site, spent an hour going through the mountain of prints to find mine and identify what the hold-up was. I waited around the whole time as the throw was a gift for the next day. Without her, I’m certain this wouldn’t have arrived.
TL;DR - ground staff are awesome, working extra hard for us, Christina saved my Xmas! Despite corporate greed trying its best to ruin things / usual issues when call centers are outsourced. The parent company should just accept fewer orders next time before undermining their own production lines (yes, that’s a message for you Chris Childs of Contrado Ltd.)//////// reply from Chris Childs. Thanks for the info. We understand how frustrating negative experiences can be. It’s not always that bad. I’m glad that we got some partial success with you. As a business we need to satisfy all our customers and how do we decide which order not to take at Christmas? Everyone’s wants service. The issue is the orders come, if we’re lucky enough to receive them, and we just have to get them made and out as fast as we possibly can. We can’t cherry pick who not to serve, and we can’t throttle a website that receives the orders auotmarcalyl, otherwise there would be another type
Of dissatisfaction. it’s part of growth that we have these problems and growth is essential for improved product, service levels, Jobs and innovation.I hang my hat on our ability to learn, how to improve, take the criticism on the chin and figure out how to do a better job next time. Fleece Blanket
Having bought a few blankets since last year, I have to say this one was a little disappointing on arrival. It was all crumpled on the fleece side at the back so looked distorted at the front. I had to stretch the fleece part out and lay it flat for a few days before giving as a present

The item was of good quality and clear print. Was a bit small for a blanket/ throw but apart from that it was good
Tea Towel
Tea towels were gorgeous although expensive. Blankets photos I should have done smaller as a lot larger than I thought. The cushion was smaller than I thought but good quality.
