Whether you're all dressed up with nowhere to go, or looking for the perfect addition to that evening gown, our custom long gloves have you covered from fingertip to bicep. These Opera Length gloves can be designed with your photos, text, and art. The Crushed Velour fabric is soft and cosy, and has the added advantage of keeping you a bit warmer during the colder months, which is a bonus if you're wearing a sleeveless dress. The velour has a beautiful off-white base colour and brushed texture that gives these gloves plenty of character.

How Do I Choose the Right Size?

  1. Measure around the whole hand, where your knuckles are, for the initial measurement
  2. Then, measure from the tip of middle finger to the base of the hand
  3. Using these measurements, check our size guide to see which size is the best fit for you.
If you find you are close to the end of a size, we recommend sizing up to make sure your personalised evening gloves are the right fit.

How we make it

Handmade to Order 

Each pair of custom long gloves is handmade to order here in our North West London facility. We print your designs directly onto Crushed Velour fabric using eco-friendly inks and a deep infusion printing technique, which results in a long-lasting, fade-resistant colour. This means that you can dance all night and machine wash your custom evening gloves without worrying about the print fading. Once printed, the fabric is then cut to size and shape, and stitched together by our expert seamstresses. 

Design tips

Long and narrow areas

As the print areas of your custom opera gloves are long and thin, we have some helpful design tips. Rather than trying to stretch one photo up the whole length of the glove, you may want to add a couple of different photos to each design area. This way, your photos won't get stretched out and you can have more of them! Use different photos to cover the whole print area, or use a few photos with any background colour of your choice.

 

You have two options for the thread colour: black or white. You can choose the colour that best matches your design to help the stitching blend in, or choose the opposite for a contrasting effect. Keep in mind that black thread will be especially visible on lighter colours.
