Felt book - lovely present!
I put together a photo storybook for my nephew and chose the felt children’s book. It was produced and shipped really quickly, great quality and I spoke to Cawo on the live chat who was super quick to reply to my questions and really helpful. Brilliant quality product and brilliant service. I plan to write a sequel and put in another order for his Christmas present! :D Thank you!
Good quality book
I used the email chat and that was very helpful. The book is good quality and the textured pages are appealing to small children. Service quick, delivery fast. Definition of photos not so good due to textured finish but still ok.
Perfect Book for a Small Child
We are adopting a one year old boy and have created this book to send to him before he is placed with us so he can see photos of his new family. It’s a great quality felt book and the photographs have come out lovely. It was also produced and sent really quickly. It was on the expensive side but definitely worth it. We struggled to find something that was suitable for such a small child and this is perfect. A five star service!!
Hi I ordered a personalised felt board book. It was really easy to design and it was delivered really quickly. The product is really good quality and was great to be able to design our own book. Thanks
These felt books for toddlers are so much fun and you can keep them in the family forever as a special keepsake. Babies and young children will be amazed to see their faces and names inside of a storybook, which is great for encouraging them to read, solve puzzles or identify animals, for example. Make your own board book and evoke their natural curiosity.
Step 1: Decide on a theme
Will your personalised board book be a fun learning-resource, bedtime story, kids photo album or something else entirely? You know your child best, so choose something that you know is going to be engaging.
Step 2: Design the front cover
This is the first thing your baby will see, so make it visual to draw attention and get them excited to see what's inside. NB: The way that we do our board book printing means that your photos aren't printed over the spine, so bear in mind the bleed area when adding your images to the front and back cover.
Step 3: Think about layout
An idea might be to keep text on the left-hand pages, and images on the right, especially for younger tots who are just starting to learn words and the concept of reading. Edit the text size, colour and font to complement your design, making sure it's big, bold and clear. For learning things like animals, family members names, colours etc, placing the text on the opposite page is also handy for when you want your child to guess the word on their own. The first and last pages are ideal to use as an introduction and 'The End'.
Step 4: Check the preview
Whilst we always check and contact customers regarding image quality, we cannot check spelling and other aspects of your design. Use our preview and zoom functionality to make sure you're happy with the photo board book before proceeding to check out.
Like many of our products, the personalised board books come with a quantity discount, perfect if you've got twins, or have several grandchildren, nieces or nephews etc. So, buy more than one today and save money.
If you can’t decide on which photo to use, you can upload multiple images and create a photo collage. This can be done using one of our pre-set montage templates, or you can create your own entirely from scratch. It’s super easy to do and the possibilities are endless.
Step 1 – Click the start design button & select your product options.
Step 2 – Go to the ‘Images & Text Tools’ tab, click the ‘add images/Text’ button on your product & ‘Select Images to Upload’ or use the Facebook/Instagram tabs.
Step 3 – Choose the images you want to use for your collage, upload & select them from the uploaded photos list.
Step 4 – Click ‘Create montage’ & select your collage style.
Step 5 – Add the collage to your design.
We print your designs onto our high-quality peached felt, using state of the art digital printing techniques. This deep infusion print method is carried out by trained technicians and results in a long last, vibrant print that will not rub off, or scratch away. The printed felt is then cut to size by expert craftsmen and then backed onto solid boards, creating a 19 cm x 18.5 cm book. Everything is assembled, and then quality checked by our control department before being shipped out to you, all in the space of just a few days.
For newborn babies, a super cute gift is to customise a felt book with pictures of all their relatives. Dedicate each page to a family member or couple, printed with their names, and watch as they begin to recognise faces. This also helps for when you're telling stories as you can point to who you're talking about.
Turn learning into a fun game by creating your own puzzle book. Great for interaction and stimulating toddlers' imagination and creativity, their unique board book will become a favourite playtime activity.
Bedtime stories are a magical experience for little ones, listening to heartwarming tales as they drift off into the land of nod. To make going to bed less of a struggle, design your own bedtime storyboard book. Make them the star of the story and include their friends and pet's names to make it truly bespoke to them.
These are brilliantly suited to mark important milestones such as first steps or first words. The book makes an ideal keepsake to commemorate a special occasion such as a birthday or christening, and wonderful presents for new mummies and daddies, grandparents, aunties and uncles.
