Artworking Service
Our in-house studio at Contrado can handle your most routine or challenging
request! note: blemish, red-eye and date stamp removal are free of charge
and at our discretion. Contrado is not obliged to make these adjustments
and does so without liability in order to help achieve the best results.
Blemish removal 
This is done free as standard. We take a good look at your image and try to remove anything we think would spoil the look of your print: for instance fingerprints, hairs, blobs in the sky - even sometimes people's fingers!
Red-eye removal 
Red-eye is caused by a flash reflecting off the back of the eye and causes
an unsightly alien-like effect - ruining many a good photo in the process.
As a free part of our service we remove any red-eye we find on your image.
Conversion to black and white or sepia 
This is also a free service, done to request. When you make your purchase, simply state whether you would like any colour conversion done in the notes when you upload.
Date stamp removal 
This we also do for free. Please note though when submitting a picture that people's hands and faces are a nightmare to remove a datestamp from.
Cropping
For some of our products a certain amount of cropping is sometimes necessary (for instance if you submit a portrait-format photo for a landscape bag). We will crop your image sympathetically according to what we think would look the best. If you have any specific cropping instructions, please include them in the notes section of your order as you upload your photographs.
Special effects
We can do a huge variety of special effects and treatments on your photograph. We can make montages from several photos, add and remove people: just about anything you can think of.

Colour Splash
Another great technique or artwork treatment is to have us make a Colours Splash for you. This is where you indicate an area (in your image instructions) to remain in colour and we convert the rest to black and white. It makes as great impact print and is something a little different.
