These thick handmade-to-order 7.5" x 17.5" cloth napkins feature the "Araber uit den Aanzienlijken stand” character from a hand-colored Karl Joseph Brodtmann stone lithograph from H.R. Schinz's 1840 Naturgeschichte und Abbidungen des Menschen. Brodtmann was part of the post-Linnaean Age of Enlightenment, hand-colouring sets for biologists and the aristocracy. Brodtmann's work displayed a remarkable sense of aesthetics and scientific accuracy. These custom pot holders are hand-crafted and engineered for hot dishes up to 302°F, and come with a loop hanger. Available as a pack of two.
