This is a collection of a dozen coasters with landscapes and scenes of architecture from several centuries. Grant Wood’s “Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” (1931), Jan van Goyen’s “Castle by a River” (1647), and Thomas Cole’s “Aqueduct Near Rome” (1832) represented some of the romantic depictions of human buildings in landscapes. William Morris Hunt’s “Milton Pastures” (1876) and Thomas Doughty’s “On the Beach” (1828) offer you scenes of cattle and water. If you enjoy landscape paintings, you may be pleased by this set of coasters with lovely landscapes I’ve photographs while visiting art museums.
