This puzzle lets you focus on the detail in the center of a landscape painting by Joseph Henry Sharp (1859-1953), titled "Apache Camp in Hondo Cañon, New Mexico". This was painted sometime between 1900 and the 1920s, and was given to the Cincinnati Museum of Art by Miss Alice R. Werk. The image shows an encampment along a creek, with trees showing colors of September or October. Smoke is rising from a fire, and two figures are by the creek. Hondo Canyon is just east of Albuquerque, and I have driven through it on Interstate Freeway I-40 on many occasions.
