We submitted a photo book for review in the June issue of digital Photo
magazine, and were delighted to get the silver award. We only missed
out on top spot because the journalist felt that our prices were a little
high for the readership of that magazine, but handbuilt quality costs,
and we firmly believe that paying a little extra for a lot of quality
and unique features like a personalised cover is worth it. We were chuffed.
Here are some things said about the Contrado Deluxe Photo Book:
"this exclusive product has shunned template software and instead
asks that you resize your prints and number them in page order. Although
this may seem limiting, it actually gives more freedom as you build
your layout in photoshop. The finished result is impressive; the cloth
finish hard cover features your selected image on the front and rear,
giving it a very personalised look. Inside the images are well-printed
and the book itself is stitch bound and feels well made. This is a pricey
option but worth it when presentation really matters."
and later, in the summary:
"the high quality of the Contrado album stands out, from the printed
cloth cover to the high quality paper."
