Listen up all you froods and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Fans!<\/h3>\n

May 25th is coming up and that can only mean one thing…Towel Day (unless it’s your birthday too, in which case, Happy Birthday!)\u00a0Our Towel Day competition is back for 2014! If you haven\u2019t heard of Towel Day, it is a celebration of the life of Douglas Adams and his infamous cult novel, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy<\/em>, observed by his fans carrying a towel around all day. We want to challenge our lovely and creative customers to design your very own towel.<\/p>\n

In the book, Adam\u2019s states that the value of the towel is \u201cabout the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have<\/i>.\u201d He goes on to list the many uses a towel has\u2026here are some of our favourites:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cWet it for use in hand-to-hand combat.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cWave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cWrap it around your head to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter of Traal (a mindboggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can\u2019t see it, it can\u2019t see you \u2013 daft as a brush, but very ravenous).\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cDry yourself off with it if it still seems clean enough.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
