We try our best to use environmentally friendly techniques and
materials. Take our printing process for example. All our prints for canvas, bags, blinds, screens and many more, utilise the
most advanced WATER BASED ink systems available - none of which are harmful
or hazardous substances according to their data sheets and manufacturers warranties, (yet they are permanent and excellent for repro).
This is quite an amazing fact when you consider most printers use solvent
based inks and which are toxic and harmful to the environment when the
waste is discarded. Another example is the pine frames we use in our canvas
prints. These are from sustainable non rainforest tree farms.
We are as environmentally friendly and ethical in our work practice
as possible on a practical level. You can be assured we reduce waste,
energy consumption, and reduce need for inefficient transportation and
produce our products in a fair and ethical way as far as we can. We dislike waste.
If you have read our product details you may note we make everything
on site here in UK. This brings you the additional benefits of knowing
where your products are made, that our skilled staff are protected
by UK laws and not a sweat shop in far East. This also means a major
reduction in transport required to manufacture our products - i.e. no
requirement to ship from far away - which in turn cuts down on carbon
pollution.
A small contribution perhaps, and we are in no way claiming to be perfect
- but our responsible approach to the environment is better than none
at all.
